Infrared Thermometers
Many chefs want to be able to take a temperature reading of food without touching the product, and that can be done with an infrared thermometer. Using cutting-edge laser technology, infrared thermometers will give you accurate temperature readings without coming into contact with the surface of the product.
With temperature ranges from -50°C to 400°C, there is little chance of cross contamination with an infrared thermometer. The thermometer measures the surface temperature of any liquid or solid using a laser. Durable and robust, the thermometer is ideal for use in any domestic or commercial kitchen, delivering quick and accurate readings. A large LCD screen gives digital readings, and the thermometer can also be used to measure the temperature in fridges, freezers and cupboards.
Compatible with HACCP requirements, infrared thermometers are safe and hygienic to use, lowering the risk of contamination, and lightweight, enabling easy use. Some infrared thermometers have the option to freeze the reading displayed, giving you time to record the temperature in a log book.
